Mission: Feet on the ground

It's important not to lose yourself and your connections to others. It's important to be aware of the world around you and not lose yourself inside your own head. It's important to juggle many tasks, and if you're not good at that, then make sure the tasks you pay attention to are showing love and providing for your loved ones. If you reach a goal and you're alone, the goal loses its importance.

There are a few hundred images of fire on Texture Punk. Here are a couple that just got added last week. There's lots of Photoshop fodder on the site. Useful for digital artists and photographers who want to modify their own photos. Useful as visual reference for anyone.

Mission: The Images

It's 2:12 a.m. I'm busy editing photos in Lightroom and uploading them to the site. Since I haven't shared any samples yet, I think it's time. Keep in mind, TexturePunk.com is not just just a texture website for 3d modelers and print / web designers, it also contains reference photos for artists. Awww....pony and goat, my lil' bros.

Tip of the hat: Two of the photos I've chosen to highlight were taken by T-girl. There's a multitude of reasons why the site wouldn't exist without her. Thank you T :)

Mission: Dust Off Those Old Dreams

I'm so excited for the site to open in a couple of weeks. It's been nine years or so since I first had the idea, so it's about darn time. I agree with those who say it's never too late to start. I'm mad at myself for putting TexturePunk.com on the sidelines while I did other things that I thought were more important.
